Artist History Formed in 1997, Drop has released three albums on Direct Impact records. Their sound, a mixture of old-school hard rock and modern day heaviness, has been heard around the Chicago area, as well as other Midwestern Cities, The House of Blues in Chicago, The Double Door, and The Riviera Theater. The band has also performed on the 1999, 2000, and 2003 Van's warped tour. Drop played at the 2003 Lollapalooza Tour in Chicago. Drop has had many oportunities to open for national acts passing through the Chicago area, most recently, Iron Maiden.
