Artist History Child is based out of North Jersey, and has hit most of the clubs in the area. "We have a lot of fun performing with many national acts in the bigger venues". Other higher profile events the band has done are their very own "Porncore" showcases. Usually the show will consist of go-go dancers, a tattoo show, a sexy fashion show, and lots of giveaways from cool sponsors. They've also been on various radio interviews and shows such as 89.5 WSOU, 105.5 WDHA, 95.9 WRAT, and 92.3 K-ROCK. Full of energy and always writing new material, the band stays on top of the local scene, giving off a strong persona. Aside from all the antics, Child's music stands tall. Sex, drugs and rock n roll? More like blood, smut and beers. Dreams, wants and needs. Deep and passionate. It's dynamically free, open to suggestion, or how you might feel at any particular moment. White knuckle chords struck with confidence followed by tempo changes drivin by the same stuff that drives murder, lust and fear. That's what Child sounds like. It's an upper-cut to the jaw with one fist and a sexual favor with the other. Ambidextrous rock music... what a concept.
