Press Reviews
Shadows In Ice shows that this guy is very talented. The song is an instrumental creation of progressive melodic rock and sounds very impressive.Another interesting multi-instrumentalist of whom we can expect a lot in the future I hope.Gabor Kleinbloesem Editor of Strutter'zine Holland - Andy Sisk is a very good solo artist from Chattanooga in the US."Shadows In Ice" is a progressive instrumental in the vein of Joe Satriani's"Ice 9" and Echo only heavier but just as technical with lots of flowing guitar melodies and hard hitting drum pounding which also shows similar patterns to Dream Theater's "Metropolis". Andy is influenced by Dream Theater, thus the obvious comparisons,he is also influenced by Racer X, Cacophony and Fates Warning and you can hear elements of Marty Friedman and Jason Becker in his style. "Shadows In Ice" is a great instrumental that I'm sure guitar labels will pick up on as Andy is indeed a talented player. Nicky Baldrian-Fireworks Magazine-UK |
