Artist description ORIGINAL89 is influenced by'Chicago Acid house' vibes combined with a more chilled and electrofied trance feel. Original 89 was chosen as the artist is heavily influenced by the electronica music that was created in the late 80's. 'ORIGINAL' Chicago Acid House music from 1989 marked a high point in Dave Grants life, leading to an irreplaceable few years of solid clubbing at Manchesters Hacienda nightclub. If you were there, Dave was the one throwing his hands up in the air on the stage/podium gong for it non stop 10pm-2am.

Artist History Started off with Korg Poly 6 which actually blew up, (couldnt take the pace!) and recorded onto fourtrack. moved onto pc based music generation and have used many 'bits' to create what is Original 89. The reason behind creating my music is mainly used as a vehicle to escape from what is perceived to be reality, but is merely yourimagination... here I am at one with noise and you can be 2.
