Artist History
The band started in late 1999 by the two origin members Johan and Sebastian. Johan took care of the guitar while Sebastian took a grip at the mic. The following year the band released a demo called "She" (now rejected and forgotten). Later in 2000 they changed the sound of the band by adding more synths and a humanoid bassplayer named Peter L. In the beginning of 2001 the band hit the stage for the very first time, 17th february in Skovde, Sweden, to be correct.
A demo was promised to be released by the summer of 2001 but Peter L. left the band in lack of interest and the other two had other things to do like work and so on. The demo was delayed though some new songs (with synthbass) were added on their homepage late 2001.
A couple of months later they recruited a new bassplayer named Robin B. Finally in the end of August 2002 the band released their second demo "Heads" featuring the four songs Heads, Arcanum, Leaving and The Bottom Line. The band received good response from audience and concert-organisers and in November they played a couple of gigs, among them at The Black Cat in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Their third demo is entitled "In Hearts" and released for the sole purpose to promote the band. The song “The Flat” from that very demo received very good response from people around Europe and is still on the rock charts at www.mp3.de among the 50 most popular songs.
They’ve played at various clubs in Sweden and done concerts in Germany, Denmark and Finland. This fall they will play in Bergen, Norway 10th October, Karlstad, Sweden 31st October and in Stockholm, Sweden 8th November.
The four track CD - Palace of Rain - was recorded in April - May 2003 together with Rikard Lofgren (Bay Laurel) at Studio Tigra. It’s an honest attempt to make their music heard and maintain gratitude amongst their present and future listeners. This CD got a very good review in the German alternative music magazine Zillo in the aug/sep issue. The CD will be released by the band themselves in early October 2003.
