Artist description FLA.VOR is an alliance of hip-hop ministries based in the Tampa Bay Area. The Alliance includes 6 hip-hop groups / solo artists (Beyond Skillz, OBS, The Strength, Rize, Reflex, LP, The Condukta, and Urban Disciple); a dj (DJ KNUCKLEZ); b-boyz (various from CROSSOVER and crews we're cool with); graffiti and graphic designs (Spec & Steez of Precision Links); street promoters, volunteers, security, and concert staff......Crossover Community Church ( a non-denominational church) in Tampa is the base home to the FLA.VOR ALLIANCE. Many FLA.VOR members attend Crossover and are on the leadership team for the hip-hop youth ministry there. But several FLA.VOR members attend other churches and are very involved at their places of worship as well......The ALLIANCE is an accountability and support group that all the ministries make up together. We support and promote each others ministries and all groups in FLA.VOR are featured on each other's albums. Several groups frequently do concerts and ministry together. We also have a bi-monthly meeting and fellowship......The main activity the FLA.VOR ALLIANCE is known for is our frequent concerts we host and put on @ Crossover (now every 2 months). We have had 12 concerts to date; featuring guests such as: The Cross Movement, Dirt, D.C.P., Lady J, Netcasterz, Remnant Militia, SUP The Chemist, Sons Of Intellect "SOI", 1 Way, Walking Dead, and several others. Crowds have grown to average over 400 headz each show. Peeps coming from all over Florida and even the U.S......The main goal for these concerts is not only to entertain and encourage believers, but mostly to reach those who don't know CHRIST. Hundreds have come to know CHRIST in the past 3 years at these events. Several have gotten plugged in to many churches and many at Crossover......The biggest example of this, is the testimony of E.J. "SPEC" Bayonet; who met CHRIST at a FLA.VOR concert at Crossover 2 years ago. Since then, he has grown and been discipled under the vision of Crossover and FLA.VOR. GOD has given him incredible artistic talent, he's been a true blessing. He currently is a youth leader at Crossover and the official artist / graphic designer for Crossover & FLA.VOR. He also now serves as the head administrator for the FLA.VOR ALLIANCE. Think about that for a minute... one who got saved at a FLA.VOR show at Crossover - got discipled under Crossover and FLA.VOR - and now 2 years later, he is running it... that's why we do what we do. NO DOUBT!!!
