Press Reviews
"The crazy cool meld of rock, funk, rockabilly and folk that makes up the Bombardier Jones repertoire is quite an excellent reason to visit this crew while playing live. The strange personalities and dry humor merely add to the experience."-- DC Music Web"Going more for mood than glitz, Ian Jones’s songs are personal and intentionally rough around the edges. Ian has his own sound and is making his mark with great songs and an honest approach." -- Songwriters Circle"The band glides from guitary alt-rock into the near regions of country feel with a Velvet Underground-like sensibility. Head Bombardier Ian Jones sings his songs with honesty and has an endearing, modest stage presence. It’s down-home DC rock music from a guy who’s firmly rooted in the scene – not only playing his own brand of goods but also as recordist and co-owner of Evil Genius Audio Labs in Arlington." -- Performance Update |
