Artist description The foundation of our music is beatboxing. On top of that we layer differentsounds ranging from hardcore to hip hop. Huge funky basslines mixed massive breakbeats are also key to our sound. We also like experimentingwith asian sounds like tablas. An important aspectof the Manual Style is the fact that we are a collective, not really a band. Our members are from all over the country Hanover, NH, Burlginton,MA, Chicago, IL, and Shrewbury, MA. We use theinternet to communicate and mix our ideas. Alsowe are open to working with any other musicians.Our samples and sounds are freely available toother musicians to mix. We hope to collaboratewith as many people as possible . We are currentlyworking on an album slated for release hopefullyby March.

Artist History Manual Style was formed in the summer of 2000. The group came about after an inspired improv session. This session happened at Rizwan's housewhile Nabeel and Roni were over. Essentially wediscovered the joys of mixing snippets of beatboxingand decided to see whether it would work withNabeel's vocals. And Snap! it did.
