Artist History In the spring of 95, old friends Monsieur le Daet and K.H. „the machine" met in a club under the big city lights of Zurich for their habitual piss up.After several sessions jamming, Four Fantastical of the Ouvakrossing crystallized. Confirming the exception, they united under the omnipresent sign of JOHN DOE.Strange that one was forced to change practice rooms like other people underpants. Howcome?Meanwhile, the band played at the Montreux Jazz-Festival frisbee and, just in time for winter, found a suitable practice-living-room.After an extended world tour through Zurich’s underground clubs, they obtained cult status amongst at least five insiders. Lucky him who was allowed to attend the undescribeable doings of this band from the very first hour.K.H. quit service because of familial difficulties, upon which the reduced to a whirlwind trio commenced the recording sessions for the ultimate JOHN DOE-Collection. In the meantime this undertaking has reached officialdom under the name of „THE DOGSIDE OF LIFE". Sources from the vicinity of the band tell of accoradant celebrations.Already many promising connections have been spun to the British Kingdom, and so this summer will again bear the odd hot session. Even in the USA some rich aunts (sorry uncles!!) were handed a copy of the limited CD from the Zurichian.May all critics who wish for these rascals to be shut up be exactly that.Peace!
