Artist History Future Brings blends the styles of metal, punk, and hardcore, while maintaining vocal mellifluence, to produce a unique rock sound that stems from the diverse influences of its members. Based in Lambertville/Stockton, New Jersey, this group has gained local support, and has created a sound that is not easily compared to one band. Future Brings is Dan Pittore, Sam Rocco, Blake Larsen, Matt Pittore, and Brian Huggins. Dan Pittore provides lead vocals for the band, and acts as the main lyricist. Sam Rocco plays lead guitar, and provides secondary vocals and harmony. Matt Pittore plays bass guitar, Brian Huggins plays drums and Blake Larsen plays rhythm guitar. The band was started in June 2000, with Dan, Sam, Matt and Brian, and received a positive response at numerous shows. They recorded a demo tape in July, and continued performing locally. The direction of the band changed quickly, from hardcore to a more melodic form of metal rock that has become the standard Future Brings sound. They began recording material for their CD on December 26, 2000. Recording was completed in late April 2001, and the CD, "Into the Fire," was released in May. After the release of "Into the Fire," Blake Larsen, who recorded the CD, began to help out with shows, playing backup guitar and keyboard. By the end of May everyone decided on Blake being a new member of Future Brings, replacing Dan's rhythm guitar, stabilizing Dan on Lead Vocals.
