Artist History chevron girl began a couple of years ago. scultpted from rock and roll granite, the band continues to survive and thrive even as adolescence fades into the rearview and life interfers with dreams of superstardom. fame or no, they now play and record albums with the abandon of rockers who don't care about making a living at music. and maybe they really don't. the newfound adventurous spirit of the collective is sprayed all over their most recent album "orange alert" like your great-aunts cheap perfume. they've never sounded so good. Lead singer Ryan Townsend can put their indescribable band into words better than anyone. "I think we're like a pear, cause we're a little hard, a little dangerous on the outside, but inside we're really soft and nice. We're not really super arrogant. We think that rock and roll should be a little edgy, a little dangerous but not go over the line" Townsend said.
