Artist History Blast was formed in 1995. They are based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Three out of the four members are original band members: drummer Mariano Martín joined the band by mid 1996. All members came from different style bands (blues, rock, heavy metal, grunge, etc). Blast has spent all this time playing out around the city. They have recorded a 5 track demo in 1997 which they produced themselves. The Band is currently recording new material. In addition, they also have an unplugged set which they have been performing lately and have been asked to perform outside Buenos Aires.

Group Members Sara Castro, vocals - Lorena Larroque, bass/backing vocals - Esteban del Río, guitar/backing vocals - Mariano Martín, drums.

Press Reviews Blast has been broadcasted live on several rock radio programs and all critics agree on the fact that the bandsounds powerful and have a unique distinctive style.
