Artist History "I'm inspired by the people that I see around me, and what I imagine they might be going through," she says. "I try to write about those feelings that people might be experiencing, but don't necessarily talk about."A star in her native India. She has appeared as a guest VJ on MTV Asia and scored a popular hit with Baarish [Virgo Music] in 1994. Anu has just released her debut U.S. tracks, the poignant, self-penned "Bobby" and a beautifully delicate cover of "Turn, Turn, Turn."
