Artist History
Born in Hollywood, Florida, Mark has lived mostly in Southern California, dividing his time between Los Angeles and San Diego. Through the years Mark has written many songs and poems. After working as an attorney representing abused children while also performing as a comedian and an actor, Mark was moved to follow his heart and to pursue music full time. The first compilation “About Time” reflects that feeling of busting out into the unknown. Mark was fortunate to work with producer/engineer Baker Bigsby who brought in such rock legends as Steve Hunter (guitar) and Nick Vincent (drums). The next CD “Don’t Wake Me Up” was written almost completely while Mark was focusing exclusively on song writing. It reflects the joy he feels while working on his songs as well as an increasing spiritual awareness. Mark was very fortunate to work with producer/recording artist Rye Randa and childhood friend and engineer Frank Rosato. This CD includes extremely talented musicians such as Stuart Mathis (guitar), Don Schiff (bass) and PatBautz (drums). Mark’s main musical influences include Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Jim Croce and many others. Mark is a huge sports fan who can often be found at a racetrack... |
