Artist History
Starting in 98, Aggro have gone through many changes. Starting out with more of a Punk sound and progressing into the diverse mix they are today. First they replaced guitarist, Gooner, with the current guitarist Rob. Then they went through several changes in the Drummer department starting with the departing of original member Sean(Maelstrom's Sad Sickness now), who was replaced by Gory Melanoma's John Holman, who passed the sticks on to Nate Sweeters (30 Second Fury), who brought a new hard edge to the music without losing the classic feel of the band. Currently they are seeking a new drummer, after Nate has left for college. There is a definite skaterock style to the band that has been evident since the begining. Aggro is still going to forge ahead into the future with an intense sound that can explode a human heart!
August 2002: TED origional guitarist has left the band to pursue his interest in bluesrock.
Aggro will remain a 3 peice. |

Press Reviews
"F***in' A. The Band AGGRO is Rad. They play straight ahead, raw as hell, thrashy punk similar to Battalion of Saints and Dr. Know, complete with cool little lead guitar parts"
- Maximum Rockn'Roll magazine
AGGRO is a solid mid to high velocity California-style thrash band. They remind me of listening to NOT SO QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT and Mystic Records seven iinches back in the day, and their song "AGGRO" sounds like it comes straight off the first TSOL twelve inch.
- P.U.N.K. Magazine (From AGGRO/VEX split 7 inch review)
They remind me of the adolescents and agression.
- Josh Joeston - Zero magazine |
