Artist History
Singer/songwriter/keyboardist "Scarlet", originally from Boston, created SCARLET'S WEB after previously fronting the LA based bands "Anywhere But Here" and "Lucid" (also on MP3). While with Lucid, she co-wrote all the songs contained on their independently released, full-length CD, and had the track "Sweet Life" from that CD, in the Buena Vista film entitled BOYS, starring Wynonna Ryder. Her other credits include songs placed in the soundtrack for the Trimark feature film "Starkid" as well as the Showtime TV movies "Thanks of a Grateful Nation" (which also aired on NBC) and "Critical Choices" (vocal performance only in "Critical Choices"). Most recently, her song "If I Couldn't Have You" was featured on MTV's series "Live Through This". The songs on this website and on the debut album entitled "Reborn", were produced by Steve Plunkett, former singer/writer/guitarist for the RCA act "Autograph", Lee Curreri, who has produced songs for artists such as Natalie Cole and Phil Perry, as well as herself. Currently, she is performing with a band in the local LA area (see "Calendar" for show dates) |
