Artist description
The Exitspecialists like back beat, pure pop hooks, harmonies and plugged-in, amped-up Fender guitars. We firmly believe that there is no better way to drink beer than doing so while indulging in the above activities. We're spread out all over the USAbut when we get together to record, it's in Chicago. We lock ourselves in a studio for three days at a time and wax as many sides as we can. We love Mp3.com since it enables us to get to you and vica-versa. |

Press Reviews
"One damn cool album." Fishwrap, NYC / "This album is a blast!" Launch, Santa Monica, CA / "Power pop with plenty of punch... Splittin' The Scene is a gem!" Java, Phoenix, AZ " / ...one of the more creative packages I've seen. This is wonderful pop that i s many parts T-Bone Burnett, Crenshaw & NRBQ. One song will go into a Ry Cooder-y jungle rock refrain and the next into jangly and chimey refrains that will make some of us break out our 1982 High School yearbooks. This is just good clean fun made for all the right reasons!" NotLame Records / Soaring harmonized vocals, spot on, quasi-psychedelic guitar playing, and textured production are the hallmarks of this straight up Power Pop.: www.listen.com |
