Artist History
My friend Tony and I have had a passion for years to create music that facilitates and takes advantage of emotion, yet remains directional in it's purpose: to lead us to (and glorify) the only answer for life's abnormalities and trials, Jesus Christ. My sincere desire is to see music reborn in the lives of the Church again. We have formed cell groups, we've started home Bible Studies, etc. But the only ministry whihc has never seemed to be de-centralized is WORSHIP. There are the worshippers, then the Church WORSHIP TEAM. I see a fault in this, that worship tends to become impersonal, mis-directed and discouraging to those who want to play and lead others in singing to the Lord, but don't know the "right people' or simply are not good at an instrument (due to lack of experience). I want to see worship return to the home, return to the people, and become something that we just "do" whenever we are gathered together, not just at church, but at home also. I think this concept will strike a chord (pun much-intended) with many people who feel left out in their big churches and have an anointing of God upon their lives for leading others into the presence of God. To them I say emphatically and enthusiastically, "Start doing it!" DOn't wait for the church to give you a ministry or "program", just start loving God and loving your brothers and sisters by ministering to them and with them. Be a leader and people will follow! And you will realize the calling God has upon your life and what he can do through you if you take that step and allow him to bless your early mistakes and experienced occassions alike. This is the purpose of my life, and my music. I hope you will join with me, discuss these issues with me, and practice this concept in your own life. |
