Artist History
Phaedrus (pronounced "Fade russ) was formed in 1996. Lots of people have asked about the band name. The name Phaedrus was chosen from the novel "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" by Robert M. Pirsig. The novel is still in print (and a very good read), just in case you were curious. Over the last few years, we have heard several other interpretations of the name, including "Joy and Light", one of Plato's Dialogues and a few others. |
