Artist History
Living Inward, a Boston-based rock quartet, is ushering in a new era of songwriting. On their latest EP Easter Parade, they blend strong harmonies and driving rhythms with finely tuned and crafted songwriting. The band recorded their latest EP in a matter of days, and that energy is palpable in their work. Living Inward showcases a fresh sound and a fresh approach to songwriting. The pain of unrequited love, the misery of loneliness, and a drive to understand, are the building blocks of Living Inward's songs. They craft beauty out of sadness, and make you feel the power of music.
Consisting of Brian Barber on vocals/guitar, Nate McDermott on vocals/guitar, Ed Hadley on drums, and John Perotti on bass guitar, Living Inward is a strong contributor to the Boston music scene and has a following in Western Massachusetts as well. Their sound has traveled as far as San Diego and Los Angeles and they show no signs of slowing down. The art of song-writing is not lost, it is being rebirthed.
