Indiana are a new pop/rock/alternative band, and come from Brisbane, Australia. Indiana's original material is a blend of both relaxed but yet driving tunes, which has been described as crossing over many musical genre's such as rock,pop, groove, alternative and even country! Many of the band's songs are commercially viable for airplay because of this. |

4 members consisting of a female vocalist and 3 guys - guitar, bass and drums.The power at the forefront of Indiana is the strong and smooth quality of Maree Gwynne's voice, which has been compared to other great female vocalists such as Susie DeMarchi (Baby Animals), Dolores O'Riordan (Cranberries), Tracey Bonham and Alanis Morrisset. Indianas' Music is provided by Mark Spillane, lead guitarist, John Newell on bass and Glenn Jury on drums. These three players provide the foundation of Indiana's great sound by supplementing each other's strengths. This fusion results in a unique yet solid and powerful groove that is of world class standard. |
