    Artist History
    Lead vocalist and guitarist, joined his first band, SHADES when he was 16 years of age. A few years later he began his recording career at Capitol Records, Hollywood, California. His First record "Richie Alan" was released in 1971, by BJB Records, releases since then include "I'll Follow The Wind" also on BJB Records, "Let Those Bridges Burn" on Bee Gee Records-1972, Soundtrack Album for the movie "The Last of The American Hoboes" on Bee Gee Records. Gary became ssociated with Milene Music Inc.(ASCAP), an Acuff-Rose Music Publishing Company, in 1974 that is now part of Sony Music. They soon published his songs "Peanut Man" on Rebel Records, "They Slew The Dreamer" "An Old Frame House" on Frame House Records, and the album "Revel" on the Star City Records Inc. label and others. Gary wrote and recorded the controversial song "They Slew The Dreamer" about the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.which was first released on the Rebel Label in 1977, then as a cut on the "Revel" album on Star City Records, Inc. in 1979. The Acuff-Rose Music Publishing Company, and Milene Music Inc. ASCAP was Gary's first major music publisher where he was befriended by Roy Acuff, Wesley Rose and Producer Johnny Erdelyan which was then the most renowned Country Music Company in the world. In 1999 his label is Grevel Universal made the mp3 files of most of his record and made them available here at mp3.com. Since then Gary has focused on writing and recording Christian music. Some of his new songs are available here. They are simple guitar-vocal recordings. Gary has written the song GIVE HIM GLORY with Joe Rubino who also produced Gary's single MEET THE LORD IN THE SKY. Other musicology includes;"Bound To Lose" released on Plain Wrap Records in 1980-1981 then "Pac-Man on Her Mind", "Wouldn't It Be Nice", "River Bottom Road", "Treat America Like A Lady" and "Hollywood Star" on Top's Records. Sony Music recently bought Acuff-Rose Music which includes Milene Music Inc. which owns 24 of Gary's songs.
