Artist description
We're a jam-heavy prog-metal act, performing a wide spectrum of melodic ambience to crushing riff-madness... We're in the midst of a year-long search for a new bassist; we have a couple of discs to finish up and place here for your listening pleasure...
'Subversive Messages' should be finished in the June/July time frame (we'll do the bass orselves if we have to). 'Machiavellian Episode' will come shortly after, which we feel will eclipse anything we've done so far.
Please stay tuned -- Until then, please enjoy these recently remixed and remastered tracks from 'Entropy'... This entire list of downloadables is only going to be here a short while... |

Artist History
Decillion was formerly known as Void from 1997-1999 (even here on MP3.com -- yes, we're getting old...). The main reason for the name change was that there were other Void names out there, and we felt that it would be best to find something more unique. So we have 10^33...
The odd transition from Void to Decillion turned out to be more than a name change; the music had changed as well during the final phases of Entropy's arrangement. Over the next 2 years, Machiavellian Episode was written and arranged, but Rick became very involved with the Mystic Caravan project, and Jeff with his work and family. After a short while, we stumbled upon an incredible drummer/percussionist who's name we won't divulge until we find the right bass player. In the interim, Subversive Messages was born -- an all-acoustic neo-classical affair, concentrating on unplugged (but still powerful) melodies from the upcoming 'Machiavellian Episode' CD, as well as a couple of tracks from 'Entropy'. 'Subversive messages' should be available in the next couple of months...
