Artist History "I wanted us to have a distinct sound, yet we are a product of many different influences.", says STATE OF BEING founder, Christopher Földi. Földi and his Cleveland, Ohio based band work toward achieving that goal by blending electro-rock with captivating vocals and provocative lyrics. Outburn Magazine (issue #19) calls State of Being's recent CD IMPLOSION "An impressive release and the band's best work yet," and rates it as excellent with 5 out of 5 stars. Reviewer Julie Johnson (Belgium's Side-Line Magazine) sums it up by saying "Overall, State of Being is complex, driven... edgy." State of Being has just completed its next full-length studio CD produced by Andy Kubiszewski (Stabbing Westward, Prick, The The), who also contributed a pair of remixes to recent SOB releases, including "Instinct (metal + glass)" from IMPLOSION. State of Being has released 2 full-length CDs, 2 CD-EPs and 2 music videos, and appears on several compilation CDs (including "Notes IV" from Invisible Records).
