Artist History
Ruined started in 1994 in Albuquerque, New Mexico by Eric Johnson and Micheal Congdon. And in 1996 after releasing various limited tapes was later joined by Terry Myers and Greg Markham and completed Morningstar in 96. In 1997 Eric moved to Washington, DC and finished and mastered the album. In 1998 Eric and Micheal (who now lives in New Orleans) wrote and completed the Lymphatic Fudge ep, an experiment of loops and drones. In 1999 Eric has now re-located to Oakland, Ca and currently working on Ruined's next two releases with Michael. One is an album of covers called "Ruined Classics Vol. 1" which includes cover of U2-Pride, The Crannberries-Zombie, Duran Duran-The Chauffuer and more. The other release currently in production is a new album of originals entitled "Disavowed." Both should be finished by the fall. |
