Artist description
Explosive guitars, thumping bass, and a whole lotta drums. Add inspired lyrics, and the willingness to never write the same song twice, and you have a band that's best described as "music for the attention-deficient!" |

Music Style
Not easy to define, really. These guys have created a sound that is familiar, yet very distinctive...from ass-shaking funk to heavy rockers to huge soaring epics. GAIT takes you to the mountain top, shows you the view, then pushes you right off. The music cushions the fall with a burst of energy only guitar, bass and drums can propel. Plenty of bang for yer buck. |

Musical Influences
Zappa, the Who, Chili Peppers, Seattle, whatever...EVERYTHING is an influence in one way or another... |

Founded just off the Ohio State campus in 1996. After two years of constant gigging and nightly practices, their debut album was released in October 1998 on the band's Car Wrecords label |
