Artist History
The Victory Drive Began in early 2000 When Chad was introduced to Josh by his girlfriend who also happened to be Josh's sister. Josh and Chad quickly realized that they had common musical interests and decided to start a band together. Jayson had played with Chad in Fireworks for Royalty, a band based in Denton, TX that played two shows and called it quits. Eric Battison was the original drummer for the band. He and Chad had known each other for most of their lives and started playing in band together in high school. After two months together The Victory Drive recorded "Life in the World and Out of It," a five-song ep that was made of up of the first songs they wrote together. Due to family obligations Eric had to leave the band in May of 2001, playing his last show in early July. |
