Artist History
Radament originally started out in the spring of 1998, when John Demko met Sean McCabe in school. At the time they called themselves civil disobedience and just played around for about a year. After another name change to civil disorder (due to some legal issues) and countless number of people coming and going in the band a core of people finally materialized. With John Demko on lead guitar, Colin Toon on bass, Mike Cimmino on rhythm guitar and Sean McCabe on drums Civil Disorder went into a bit of a practice slump and became idle. Soon after Colin Toon quit the band due to the lack of practice…and soon after John Demko threatened to do the same. Still in the middle of recording there first demo "Mechanical Reaper" the band seemed in turmoil. The band then put Mike Cimmino on bass to fill Collin's position. Luckily with addition of then recorder/producer Kavi Halemane, the band got a second guitarist. The last piece added was a friend of John Demko's Dave Workman. Radament hopes that Dave's keyboard playing adds some depth to the music and hopes that the new material is better than the old. Today Radament hopes to release it's demo in the near future. With the addition of a new neo-classical/progressive song "Rasputin" Radament hopes to push the musical envelope and really change the local music scene. |
