Artist History The band-doitmusic-(Vasilis Nicolopoulos.) exists about 15 years.Since I was 12 ,I had the romantic thought to dare and create "dIFFERENt and nEw mUSIc",in all its means.(Hmmmmmm...)So this was the beginning of my creation travel.My musical education started by learning Traditional Greek String instrument bouzouki,followed by piano,drum and guitar lessons.After that,I studied sound engineering and digital sound production techniques in London. I create a band there(Depends) with my friend Chris Tonge and stayed for four years.Later I worked as a Main Sound Engineer at Live Audio Concerts with mainstream artists. At the present am doing music productions and compositions,creations with electronic sound base,mostly mixed with acoustic traditional instruments,but not only!My Main Music Genre is Ethnic Electronic.A genre which officialy,does not exist.However,my music creations could be dance,ethnic,a rock baland,an industrial,or a pop soundy piece.Could Be Gothic Or Hard trance...Probably,Could be Anything! -I DON'T BELONG TO ANY GENRE SPECIFICALLY.I am just enjoying of writing music.Genres are relevant! The only sure thing is,that natural accoustic instruments and/or ellements always exist in my music. Movie/Film Sountracks are also one of my musical intentions. Recently I had the oportunity to write music for Two films that they will be Played here in Greece and France,by the end of the winter. Sountracks are my favorite creation travel. Instruments All the songs from the'Underestimated Era'album,made with my O/1Wfd Syth and the Akai S3200 Sampler(Of course there're and MAANY acoustic instruments in this album).My latest instruments are Kurzweill K2500R,Roland:JV2080,VP-9000 and Waldorf Microwave XT.I am also usin Korg O1/Wfd and Akai sampler S3200 for the last ten years.I'm not going to put here all my instruments and any of my external proccessing gear,desks whatever.
