Artist History
In 1994, the band Take Death starts playing covers varying between pop, punk, grunge, rap, and metal.After several changes, a stable line-up sees the light in 1999:Perry van der Ven, Bart van den Broek, Sietse van der Weij, Wijnand Thijssen, and Eric Raijmakers.After approximately one year of playing covers, the line-up decides to focus on writing own material from then on.In 2000 this results in ten songs. These are recorded and mixed at the end of 2000. The CD "Unleashed" and is used to promote the band.Simultaneously with the completion of the CD, the band changes its name into "Dawn". |
