    Artist History
I began to sing seriously when I was 19 and before I went into the Army. I opened for MC Hammer in 1989 in Luke's Place, Miami, FL. I performed on a USO tour with Stacy Lattisaw in 1990. We toured Germany performing her #1 duet single, " Where Do We Go From Here" that she originally recorded with Johnny Gill. Johnny Gill offered me a place in a 4 man group in 1994 when he and Hank Caldwell, former Epic records president, and SOLAR records president formed their label in LA. Unfortunately I couldn't be part of a group because I observe the biblical sabbath and couldn't perform on Friday nights. Johnny understood and respected my choice. In 1995 my mother June Brewster passed away at the age of 50 and Johnny Gill even payed for the funeral services. He is a true gentleman and I pray that he be rewarded for his kindness. My career has suffered because I lived overseas for 10 years in the country of Panama. It is there I met my wife of 11 years, Amanda. She and I have two wonderful children together. Aaron and Mandi. I still do alot of singing in Church these days. I would liketo someday release a Gospel as well as a Popalbum, but for now, I'll take it day by day. :) I'd like to thank my dear friend Fred Williams for his stubborn belief in me as an artist and for pushing me to keep making music. I'd also like to give a special thanks to Mark Ellis of Nitra Productions for his efforts in getting me heard. God bless you both. Thanks also to Dennis Ross III and Adrianne Ross for their hospitality while I was visiting with them to record these songs. A special shout to my two best friends in the whole world, Brian Spence and my mentor Ashton Brown. Also a shout out to my long lost friends Richard Gummalauski, Victor Strong and Gary Gabriel. Even though I haven't heard from you in a long time, I pray that your okay and I want you to know you guys are still on my mind. My love to my family, my older brother Billy, my older sister Carolyn, my only nephew Jason Wayne, my only neices Emily and Lindsey, my brother Joseph Brian and my sisters Michelle and Jackie, and all the rest of my family in KY. A shout out to my youth class at Plantation Seventh Day Church. A shout out to my dawg, Gerald (the piano-man) Dorsett (to those reading this, Gerald D. is an extremely prolific Pianist/composer/songwriter/singer) and his beautiful wife Kim and their duaghter Maddison. Another shout out to my good friend and prayer partner Dean Constantinos and his family. (Dean is a sensational career photographer and took the shot of me on the webpage.) Another shout out to my homies, Glenn Watkins, Bobby Harris and Larry Van Dyke. Another shout out to all the soldiers and everyone serving in the U. S. Military. God bless you all. I'd like to send a shout to Primus Telecommunications, (my place of employment) and specifically my boss Wayne Leonard for always supporting me. Another shout out to my friend and co-worker Richard Alex Cosme for always being there for me, and his lovely wife Vivi (Alex, give my love to Geah and Beah!) I'd like to dedicate this page and this music to the memory of my mother, June Carol brewster, Jan. 20 1945 to July 8 1995. Mom, I'll never forget you singing to me with a smile when I was a child. I will always love you. I would also like to co-dedicate this page to my lovely wife, Amanda, who risked her life twice to give me children. I love you. And to my children I'd like to say, I didn't know what it felt like to love someone so much that it hurts until you, Aaron and Mandi, came into my life. Thank you and I love you with all of my heart. Finally, all thanks to my God and my saviour Jesus Christ for giving me hope by knowing death is not the end and through His Grace and Mercy we can realize our true potential.Thank you, Lord, for being a provider of, a saviour of, and a teacher of life. Blessed be the name of the Lord! " Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." John 5:39
