Artist History
In 1997 Joseph Mitchell (Guitarist/Bass/Drums/Vocalist) got together with a co-worker Jamie DeJaynes, a vocalist that would soon be the voice of WR. Jamie worked for several years singing for the duo until 1999 when Joe bumped into Drummer (Bob Ross). They exchanged numbers and about 3 months later started jamming with Bob & Bassist (Fitz) Bob's best friend. Along with this foursome they recorded songs like, Suger Pill (Newer Version), Bay State Rock (A song that Byron,"songwriter"&(Fitz son), Fitz and Bob Ross) wrote before they jamed together. Jamie shortly after left the band and was missed alot. They continued to jam for awhile then seemed like they hit a brick wall. With everyone working and conflicting schedules, it seemed gloom and doom for this band. All though they have not played together for awhile, Joe Mitchell the original member of the band decided to retrace his roots as a metal performer. The first demo cd was spun in 1999 and only contained 2 songs. With the responce of this cd from the metal community, he decided to create a full cd for 2001. Wooden Relic's Splatter is the latest cd. Though Joe and the rest of the members are good friends, the style of music wasn't as quiet as heavy as the latest recordings. |
