Artist description
Spawned from the memories of broken homes, dying friends, life on the streets, child abuse, backstabbing lies, suicide, and other forms of the most sinister hatred in this world, SkinKrawL sets to show how a cruel existence can turn one’s life into utter disgust. Songs combining metal, hardcore, grind, and noise mix with emotional overloads and unrelenting melodicism to reflect the different elements of a painfully emotional experience. No feeling is left untouched, as hatred and rage shift into opposing sections of sorrow and depression whose combination delivers a powerful expression of agony. The twisted lyrics of songs such as “Looking Glass” and “Once Again” force the listener deep inside the psyche, as the soul-breaking, harsh reality envelopes the listener into a chaotic world of pain and regret. The aim of this band is not just to play music, but to penetrate your consciousness and soul. |

Press Reviews
The SkinKrawL live show relives past emotional pain through an intense session of anguish; members repeatedly beat the crowd, the venue, and each other into submission. Shows have produced bloody trips to the emergency room, blackened eyes, bruised bodies, and members lying on stage in an emotional fit of tears. Four distinct personalities combine into one discordant display of emotion, living their music and reliving the feelings that have brought them to this punished point in life. This is a band who plays so that they may wake up in this world for another day and carry on; without this outlet for frustration, their lives quickly fall into discontent. |
