Artist History
Sharam Jey started his musical career already at the age of 14. At first, he only engaged in singing, but already at age 16, his fascination for electronic music grew and he started to experiment with synthesizers. In addition to producing, he spread his activities into deejaying in 1990. In doing so, his preference for house and techno music started to show. Inspired that way, he began to produce new tracks - with the initial enthusiasm and a lot of musical maturity. Under different project names like "Groove Park", "16C", "Shadrew", and "Stressman" many club hit tracks were released. In 1995, his first production "Let's Go" on the Berlin house label Amtrax received very positive feedback from many DJs. In January 1996, "Keep On Moving" was released, having been the house track of the year for many clubbers and DJs. The unmistakable vocal refrain has been sung by Sharam himself. Notable remixes and productions followed, making it to the top of the Media Control Charts within very short time. From 1997 on, Sharam moved his look towards the UK and placed successful productions in the UK national charts and the club charts. On the UK label Low Sense he had more than 20 successful releases, many of them for large mayors. His deejaying concentrated on the UK, too. Some club tours and many collaborations with reputable artists followed. The UK pushed Sharam into the best clubs and events worldwide, from Russia and Finland to the USA, where he did two extensive tours across Californa. These gigs placed him amongst the international DJs in demand.Been booked inUSA: Las Vegas, Eutopia / Los Angeles, DeLux, Filter, Vipers, Laundry / San Diego, San Francisco, SpundaeBrasilien: Rio De Janeiro/ Sao PauloChina: Hong KongDeutschland: most good clubs and events like Loveparade/ Lovenation, Mayday,Nature OneEngland: London / Manchester, GatecrasherFrankreich: Cannes / ParisJapan: TokyoÖsterreich: Insbruck / Salzburg / ViennaPolen: WarshawRussland: Moscow / St. Petersburg / KiewSchweiz: Zurich, SensorTschechei: Prag |
