Artist History
Ridley McIntyre began as the bass player of Earth Calling Angela in Coventry, UK. After collaborating with ECA guitarist Paul Broome in the project Burning Dolls, he moved to America, where he currently resides in New York. Switching from gothic-industrial to a more electronic sound, Ridley isn't trying to reinvent the wheel, but to make music that he can "simply dance to". |

Press Reviews
From Alfie Finch:OK, call me biased because I know him, but for a first foray into the world of making music this kicks ass. Rid has always loved playing with computer based music tools, he's the one that taught me how to use the old TCB Tracker I had on my Atari 1040 when all I could do was put someone elses samples into a half-decent re-mix. Rid came along and said, 'can't we make our own song up ? Do you have to stick to re-mixing ?' And he did...It was like God saying 'let there be light'...He then spent some time playing in a band and learnt even more about making music as you'll see if you buy this CD.He's always been into to pushing the limit of the tools available and even though he says in his own words, 'another bouncey techno trash track', you know he's explored the limits of the tools available to him.All I can say is I can't wait to see the next album !From Purple Jase: Some groovy stuff, very well put together. Nice mix of old style acid, indust and new style dance/trance. |
