Step by zigzag saw-wave step, it climbs the hill and vale, propelled on liquid electric sunshine. Mouth Reliant began as an ensemble project for The Sound of Chrysler Compilation (www.mp3.com/thesoundofchrysler) Rock and roll and sampled K-cars. It has now expanded to include the electronic goings-on around here.

Artist History Conceived on the evening of Dec. 22nd, 2000 when removing badges from an abandoned 1989 Plymouth Reliant. The "PLY" remained on the car, the "MOUTH" broke off, and thus "MOUTH RELIANT" was born. It's a stellar band name, don'cha think? From that, it's now an endeavor to draw out the best of a forgotten past, when innovation ran wild in music technology yet still had a palpable soft spot for warmth in tone and sound.

Group Members Tim Hansen and whoever can tolerate him on occasion.

Instruments The Computer, various vintage electronic sounds, circuit-bending wizardry, and God knows what else.
