Artist History Kuru formed in the summer of 1999 and has been moving forward ever since. After playing small venuse for several months ,Kuru's high-energy stage show was beinning to get noticed in the Detrit and Grand Rapids area. Within eiht months of formation Kuru was already being granted opening slots for high profile national acts (Sevendust, Mudvayne, Fear Factory, Nonpoint0, and playing shows almost constantly at many of the A list clubs in Mi, Oh, Ind , Ill.
