First album with two musician friends 1982/83 - Composition of ballet scores (Vimana Company) and multimedia shows (Quarz). 1983/85 - Local radio/tv jingle composer and studio arranger, while living on a sailing boat in Papeete, Tahiti. 1986/89 - I'm getting really serious: harmony, fugue, counterpoint & orchestration in Paris with Arnaud Mattei, Pierre Doury (at the Schola Cantorum), jazz piano standards and improvisation with Joseph Makholm, I play in a jazz-fusion quintet from the American School of Modern Music. 1989/93 - I work as composer & arranger in several studios in Paris. 1993 - Frustrated with the partitioned nature of the industry and the daily routine of commercial music, I start to assemble my own project studio. 1994/99 - While doing occasional audio jobs, I do some I.T. consulting to complete the studio equipment, while financing the composing & recording of my music. 2000 - 'Inward Tides', a cd of compositions for piano and world-jazz orchestra. |
