Artist History Fireway has been formed in 1998, by Andre Cauzzi(guitars/vocals), Mauricio Ramos(bass), and Rogerio Rosa. After a long period of problems with the drummer, Rogerio left the band in October of 2000. The two remaining members start working a few months later, without a drummer, using computer softwares to sequence the drum tracks of some songs. When the guys were almost giving up hope of finding a musician that would fit into band's philosophy of work and style, Mauricio could finnaly contact Vinicius Vieitz, wich has played with him in some other bands in the past. He joins the crew in january 2001, and then begins a series of hard rehearseals in order to integrate the new line-up. In March,15 of 2001 the band begins the recording process of the single named "RED SKIES", containing four songs(Red Skies, Promises, I'm not your slave, To live again) and finnaly finish their work in april 21 of 2001. Due to financial limitantions, the guitar and bass tracks has been recorded in the band's home studio, using Andre's computer as multitrack recorder. Drums and vocals has been recorded in studio (because of it's complexity to record) and also mixing and mastering. The dream has come true. "Red Skies" is out and shows the energy and potencial of this guys. A work done with blood and sweat, and a lot of passion for the music.
