Artist description
My wife and I, with a little help from our friends; aging hippies, all. I believe that at least one genre of today's music should be devoted to telling stories the way fiction, poetry and even non-fiction does, but by using experimental compositions of musical and non-musical sounds instead of words. Yet, like written works, this musical style is also intended to evoke images and emotions while simultaneously telling a story. In otherwords, it would essentially be a form of an electronic, experimental/musical ballad. My wife is a natural and gifted musician of the highest caliber. I help her with all the geek chores involved in her music making, in exchange for some of her musical advice and instruction (which I am, unfortunately, still unable to fully use or even understand, sometimes). She is also a songwriter and a consummate vocalist; please check out her torchy, lush voice and unusual lyrics, under "kay_garwood", or: /artists/23/kay_garwood.html By night, I'm a geek audio/electronics/computer/graphics semi-professional with a very, very wide experiential and interest base. |
