Artist description
Pounding tribal beats, crisp acoustic guitar, blurring electric guitar all combine along thick bass lines to form a perfect seam. A rich voice belts lyrics so real that it leaves hair standing on the back of your neck. This is the music experience of 420. |

Artist History
Formed in 1997, 420 has quickly established themselves as one of the top rock acts in the Chicago/Metro area. In 1998, 420 released the four-song CD "In For Twenty". The disc was praised by critics and fans alike and earned 420 a 1999 RAMI Critics Choice for best Composition of the Year and a 2000 RAMI for best Hard Rock Band. This helped solidify a strong fan base in their home town of Rockford, Illinois. In 1999, 420 entered The Noise Chamber recording studio (Cheap Trick, The Pimps, Big Hello) to complete their long-awaited follow-up, "Desensitized". This 10-song CD has a more mature sound and first-rate production. With a new and improved line-up, live shows are more powerful than ever. |
