Artist description
TomLori are historical Music Reenactors and
Entertainers, Purveyors of the Finest in Period
and Traditional Irish/Celtic Folk Music from the
Renaissance (15th), through the Colonial and
Early American periods (early 19th century).
TomLori perform the music our ancestors listened
to, sang along with, and danced to. TomLori
combine vocals and period and traditional folk
instruments, weaving point and counterpoint
harmonies into simple and intricate tunes.
TomLori present a uniquely unforgettable,
high-energy show that combines the sound,
spirit, and humor of the music and the periods
they portray. TomLori are fresh and engaging,
one of the most entertaining and exciting groups
to come along in years. There is nothing
commonplace about them or their shows.
TomLori thrill and delight audiences of
all ages with a mixture of ballads, broadsides,
and outrageous songs and antics all with a
healthy seasoning of humor, fun, and excitement,
that will raise a laugh, a glass and the roof. |

Artist History
Tom and former partner, Lori began performing
together at the Virginia Renaissance Festival in
1995. At that time, they performed authentic
instrumental Renaissance and Colonial dance music.
In 1997, Laura Keadle joined Tom, and they
expanded the music to include vocals and
instrumentals. We met Diana at the Virginia
Renaissance Faire, 1998 Season, where she
performed in the Musician's Guild. Diana
recently joined the ranks of TomLori,
(Quite willingly despite all the scuttle-butt
about being abducted), and has proven to be
quite an assett to TomLori.
Diana's fine musicianship has earned her the
much deserved praises and accolades she
regularly receives! Diana comes to us from the
New World county the Virginia's where she
received Degrees in French & Music from William
& Mary. |
