Artist description
Since 1990 THEE BUDDHAJEWS have been playing and circulating lo-fi experimental rock, punk, and novelty recordings throughout the local alternative underground in their home base of Augusta, Georgia.
Armed with analog and digital recording devices, a box full of tangled cords, a couple drum machines, some cheap synths, and a few guitars they are constantly stretching the tolerance of what the local music
community can tolerate as "art". |

Artist History
Thee Buddhajews started back in 1990 with "Stoney" Stone and Dean Conley, as a cure for the boredom of summer. Since 1990, Dean left and was replaced by Chuck Key, who took over half the writing and performing, and almost 100% of the recording.
They have recorded and released countless cassettes and a few CDs, most of which haven't really made it anywhere. You can sometimes hear Thee Buddhajews around the downtown Augusta Georgia music scene, though they very seldom
play "live". Currently, they are slowly recording a new album with the "old sound" for release in 2003.... |
