Artist History
PISSED formed in 1991 in the basement of the old Profane Existence house in Minneapolis. The band was the collaborative effort of editors from three well known punk fanzines, Profane Existence, Assault With Intent To Free and Hippycore. PISSED released one seven inch record on the Minneapolis label Profane Existence in 1992 before Newt moved to Mississippi to start the punk metal band THE COOTERS. The seven inch was later released in Europe. Joel and Dan continued Pissed with new guitarist Tod. The new PISSED toured Europe in 1992, where they recorded the live compact disc, "Pissed's Greatests Hits," for the Czech Republic record label, Malik Records. PISSED broke up at the end of their 1992 European tour. Dan went on to play bass in the band DESTROY continues to be the driving force behind Profane Existence. |
