Artist History The history of MueroFuerto really begins with the coincidental occurrence of being in the same art class as Kris.When we discovered that we both played instruments the decision was made to form a band. We took his rinky dink two track tape recorder and began to play what would become the notorious Peel Sessions. We wrote Mariel that night and decided that there was definitely a potential for the band. We finally got things back on track when the decision was made to record our first demo tape. We sat down one night on a late winter night in 97 and ripped out most of the songs that would be on that demo. We recorded them and Kris even managed to lay down the vocals to Sunshine Bitch, which was incidentally called Cold hearted Bitch until some time later. That song, Seratonin, My True Heart, Grim Reminder, and Wasted Youth were all recorded. Not happy with the products, Kris and I tried once more to record a more polished effort and came up with To Isabella, Fluid, Soap Dish to add to the list of songs. We finally spit out a electric version of all the songs using Kris's semi-acoustic and my peavey Bass. The final version of Wanted was released in 1998 with an additional track called Light the Light, which was recorded entirely in acoustic guitars. I got together with my friend Dave. I told him all about our band and in a fit of inspiration asked him if he would help re-record the songs and flesh them out a bit. Dave agreed and in two long nights we came up with what I called the True Heart Demos. The future of MueroFuerto is still up in the air, but things are looking slightly better. Kris and I have decided to create a produced and finalized version of our music. With the 5 songs, we would create an EP. After recalling the name of the last song I wrote, Kris suggested we call the EP Light the Light. The meaning behind it was that since this was our first real recording, it would be symbolic of us lighting some light.
