Artist description The release of Joe Aiello’s ‘Sapphire’ in the spring of ‘98 marked the debut solo recording for this multi-instrumentalist whose career has spanned the spectrum of the world of music. And now, with his newly released CD 'Emerald', he once againweaves his love of all musical genres into the fabric of his own sound and style. Both classically trained and popularly influenced, Joe is equally as at home behind a grand piano as he is a drumset. This unique perspective is evident in his blending of traditional instruments and styles with modern keyboards and rhythms evoking old world images with an ear to the new century. When not recording or entertaining, Joe enjoys an active teaching schedule in which he can share and pass on his passion and joy for music. Originally from New York and now residing in Southern California, he could on any given evening be playing piano at a seaside cafe, a party of 1200 at a fine hotel, an intimate wedding on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, or in a recording session. All requiring a special approach and sensitivity that only his experience and diversity could provide.
