Artist description I mainly write instrumental music, which is guitar-based. The new age artist Kitaro has been a major influence for the last 10 or 15 years, which has helped a lot with respect to having a melody when writing a song. I still like the technique aspect of guitar, but I try to control how many notes I play, and concentrate on telling a story, with a solid, lyrical melody.

Similar Artists My Joe Satriani influence comes out in my melodies, and there are some hints of Blues Saraceno in a lot of my music. I guess I can attribute that to the fact that he's my favorite guitar player.
