Ritual Purple's first album Karma, is a blend of moody rock songs, most of which were written by Lead Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Eric Lilavois at the age of sixteen. Thier second album Intermission(1998)is pretty diverse in content, ranging from the poppy and upbeat feel of songs like "Silver Platter" and "Addiction", the the darker more confused "Disillusioned" and "Lid" |

Artist History
Ritual Purple was formed in November of 1996, and disbanded in August of 1998. During that time period they independantly recorded and released 2 albums, Karma (1997) and Intermission (1998). The band appeared at numerous popular Southern California clubs, coffee shops, and other venues, and opened for Atlantic Recording Artists the Supersuckers, at the Whisky a go go in 1997. |
