Artist History Based out of Southern California, the members of the group are Andy Lorber (lead & rhythm guitar), Bill Lorber ( bass), Keith Blackwell (lead/rhythm & Acoustic guitar), Kenny Koudelka (drums), and Robbyn Garcia (vocals & acoustic guitar).The history of Last Temptation begins in the late 80?s when Andy, Bill & Keith were in a group called Fahrenheit. They headlined many shows at various clubs on the sunset strip, had a large following in Hollywood and Los Angeles, and placed many of their songs in movies, the most well known of which was the movie Tremors for Universal Pictures. Robbyn Garcia later joined Fahrenheit and they decided on a name change and started playing out. Many shows and drummers later, they decided on drummer Kenny Koudelka. All the live shows, usually 3 or 4 per week, solidified the performance and song writing aspects of Last Temptation, and the time was right to do a record. Speaking of song writing, Andy and Bill scored co-writing credits on the latest solo release by John Norum (from the band Europe), titled Another Destination. Bill co-wrote the track Inside and Andy co-wrote Resurrection Time. Andy also sang backup vocals on many tracks of John Norums record,Face The Truth, and has co-written a song on John Norum’s Worlds Away CD. Realizing that it was now or never Last Temptation decided to record a debut CD. The band chose to record at Silvercloud Recording, where Warrior, Tribe Of Gypsies, Downset and Megadeth have recorded. Roy Z, whom has since played on Bruce Dickinsons release, Ball To Picasso, and whose production work includes the Tribe of Gypsies, Downset, and Bruce Dickinson's latest releases, Accident Of Birth, and Chemical Wedding , mixed the record with longtime mixing partner, Joe Floyd. Roy also appears as guest guitarist on the tracks, Vodoo Man and Real Love. All in all, this record is an incredible first effort by a very talented group of musicians. Unlike so many one-dimensional bands, the different styles of the songs attest to the many different influences of Last Temptation, and you're sure to find a lot of songs you will like.
