Artist History
Joselyn is an unstoppable singer, songwriter, percussionist, dancer, and poet. She grew up in the mountains of Montana, and her love of music has taken her around the world. After study in West Africa and a degree in World Arts & Cultures at UCLA, she founded ADAAWE, “women of the drum and voice”, while continuing to write, record, and perform her original music in Los Angeles. Joselyn also founded and produced, "Sister Celebration 2001: Women in Music, Dance and Spoken Word" at the John Anson Ford Amphitheater in Hollywood, with her company, Calabash Productions. “Joselyn & wild roots” is her latest project, featuring her soulful voice and vibrant songwriting.
